Mass in St Patrick's Cemetery
Next Thursday evening (14th August) we will gather in St Patrick's Cemetery Patrick's Street (weather permitting!)
for our Vigil Mass of the Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady at 7.30pm.
The Rosary will be recited at 7.10 pm.
St Patrick's cemetery is a very old graveyard with great historic significance for our parish and Kilkenny
City.
During this Jubilee Year of Hope it is good to remember that there was a church here from ancient times reminding us of the faith that was celebrated and continues to be celebrated in our community today. If the weather is not good (serious rain!) the Mass will be held in St Fiacre's.
There will be no 10.30 am morning Mass in St Fiacre's
on Thursday as per usual on the vigil of holy days.
Masses on Friday - 10am Foulkstown and 11am in St. Patrick’s.
