Volunteering for Ministry

Renewing our Faith Communities - Volunteers Needed!

The season of Lent is a wonderful time to breathe new life into our faith communities. With the help of the Holy Spirit it is important to discern the needs of our Parishes and how we can best respond to the call of Pope Francis to become a more Synodal (or a church that walks together and welcomes) Church. The greatest resource we have in bringing all this about is our PEOPLE.

More vibrant Parishes will only emerge when we place Christ at the centre and welcome the participation of people who are enthusiastic about Life and the Gospel and are willing to offer their gifts and talents in the service of the faith community. We are blessed in St Patrick's Parish to have so many people involved- however there is always room for many more and we would love to see more and more young people becoming involved! This is why during Lent we are inviting you to consider volunteering for one of the many ministries / aspects of parish life. To volunteer simply text Fr Kieran at 086 8272828 or kieranoshea@ossory.ie and let him know which aspect of parish life you might be interested in getting involved in. He will be happy to get back to you with further information before you commit.
